I tend to agree. It's the flip side of being a small team/founder. The technical moat will go away. So need to prioritize other moats in your app to even survive.

I’m trying to product manage in the open in part because of this but I don’t really know how it benefits me fully yet mostly just gives away all ideas

the trick is to want the thing to exist, more than you want to be the one who made it. if you can do that, you realize that someone else stealing and executing on your idea is a feature, not a bug.

100% certain this will come at some point. imo having a vision and the passion to turn it into reality will be de dividing line between a successful product and one that gets drowned by the copies

The important thing will be execution speed and branding/marketing.
