What I love about this new Beatles Anthology is how it strips away the myth. The Beatles aren’t immortal here. they’re human, flawed, alive. Some of these tracks are take 26! a reminder that this band was talented but they also out-worked everyone.
I grew up with the polished legend; this release breaks it open.
