@zama What is FHE?
FHE (Fully Homomorphic Encryption) is a special encryption technology that allows you to perform computations directly on encrypted data without ever decrypting it.
š Example: You send your encrypted salary data to the bank. The bank can calculate your taxes, insurance, etc., without ever seeing the actual number.
Zama: The company developing this technology and bringing it to blockchain.
FHEVM: An Ethereum-compatible virtual machine that allows you to write smart contracts where the data always remains encrypted and private.
š In short:
Zama FHE = Blockchain + Full Encryption ā enabling transactions, DeFi apps, or AI to process data privately and securely, where no one (except the owner) can access the raw data.
⨠Example to make it simple:
Normally, when you transfer money on a blockchain, everyone can see how much you sent.
With FHE by #Zama, you still make the transfer, but outsiders only see the transaction happen not the actual amount.
