Nobody talks about WHY it's so hard to put AI on a blockchain. Here are the 3 actual problems (and how @ritualnet is solving them) 🧵 1/ Coordination — AI agents have no shared protocol. No way to verify each other's work in a trustless system. It's anarchy. 2/ Hardware — Blockchain nodes are tiny. Running an LLM on every node would kill performance. You can't just "put GPT on-chain." 3/ Non-determinism — Smart contracts need the same output every time. AI models don't work that way. Internal retries = black boxes = unverifiable. Ritual's fix? Don't run AI on-chain. Run it beside the chain. Their Infernet nodes handle compute off-chain, then send the result back WITH cryptographic proof. The contract doesn't need to trust the model — it trusts the proof. That's the whole game. This is what "verifiable AI" actually means in practice.
