Oh. “I’m scared.” 😭 I heard my little sis say that to me… Barely able to even form the words. But somehow, the “I’m scared” came out scarier Than the dark and endless street we had found ourselves on. She was gripping my clothes so tight, I could feel the fear trembling through her small hands. The kind of fear you don’t explain. The kind of fear that lives in silence. It was late. Very late. No street lights. No torchlight. No hope.
