It slipped away through cracks I can’t control.
Dreams turned to dust beneath my hands,
Time drowned my voice in shifting sands.
I walked through nights that never end,
Each shadow felt like a long-lost friend.
My heart still beats, but not for me—
It echoes ghosts of what used to be.
I lost my life, yet here I stand,
A broken wave upon the land.
